The newer iteration of Wave Race was a hit. It's currently sitting at $10, and it's still the best-selling PS3 title on both and Gamefly. A year later that figure would have dropped to $40, but the title's price has since spiked to an all-time high of $60. When Splatterhouse was first released it sold for a little over $60 and collected a trophy for Best Retro Game in the 2009 Game Developers Choice Awards. The Vita version of the game is also selling for $60. This new version of the classic game was released for the PlayStation Vita and came bundled with a price-matching PS3 model. To add to the confusion, Namco also released Splatterhouse HD (Enhanced) in 2011, which was the same game with a different name, logo, and a higher resolution. The game, which was made in-house at the developer, has been on the market for nearly five years, which is a pretty impressive feat for a bunch of random noise. Splatterhouse 3 was released in 2012 and is currently selling for $9 on. Two other games in the series have also seen a spike in value since 2010.
